Friends of the Milton Free Public Library - Purpose

..."Its purpose shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in the Milton Free Public Library; to stimulate the use of the library's resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the library; to raise funds for such projects, facilities and equipment that are beyond the scope of the town budget for the library; to aid the Board of Trustees and the Library Director in their efforts to make the Milton Free Public Library a vital community resource, and to aid in securing volunteers for the library."

  • June: Milton Beach kick-off celebration

  • October: McKToberfest at McKenzie's Farm
  • Little Free Public Library: Milton Town Beach

Donations:

  • Supports MFPL kid's parties as needed with volunteers and food
  • Buys imprinted books bags for MFPL
  • Prints complimentary magnets for MFPL patrons
  • Prints informational MFPL bookmarks

Fundraising:

  • Fall bulb sale
  • Wreath Sale

School/Library Collaboration:

  • Fun Fan Fiction: Nute High School students
  • Fun Fan Fiction: Nute Middle School students
